Molly Herson Profile.

Molly Herson

Founder/Director

Molly Herson (Founder/Director) is the proud founder of OnCue Theatre. She holds a BA in Arts Administration with a minor in Theatre Arts from Elon University. Molly has directed numerous OnCue productions, including Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Legally Blonde Jr., Carrie: The Musical, Into the Woods Jr., Shrek Jr., Willy Wonka Jr., American Idiot, Seussical Jr., 13! Jr., Alice by Heart, The Wizard of Oz Jr., Percy Jackson, Something Rotten Jr., Spongebob Jr., Hair: The Tribal Love Rock Musical., and Urinetown: The Musical. In addition to her work as a director and educator, Molly recently returned to the stage as Diana in Next to Normal, a role that deepened her appreciation for the emotional power of storytelling. Molly has a deep love for children and arts education, and is passionate about the role theatre can play in young people’s lives. She is committed to creating spaces where every child feels empowered to explore and express themselves through the transformative power of the arts. At the heart of OnCue’s mission is Molly’s belief that theatre should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background, ability, or experience. She works hard to build inclusive, welcoming opportunities for all. Molly is so excited to be back for the third full year season at OnCue!

Kassidy Profile

Kassidy Kepner

Choreographer

Kassidy Kepner is a recent graduate of Montgomery College majoring in elementary education. She has choreographed previous productions such as Carrie (OnCue Theatre), Into the Woods Jr. (OnCue Theatre), Shrek Jr. (Bannockburn ES), Willy Wonka Jr. (Burning Tree ES), High school Musical Jr. (Bannockburn ES), American Idiot (OnCue Theatre), Seussical Jr. (OnCue Theatre), 13! Jr. (OnCue Theatre), Alice by Heart (OnCue Theatre), Wizard of Oz (OnCue Theatre), Madagascar Jr (Burning Tree ES), Beauty and the Beast (Bannockburn ES), Percy Jackson (OnCue Theatre), Something Rotten Jr. (OnCue Theatre), Spongebob: Youth Edition (OnCue Theatre), Hair (OnCue Theatre), Spelling Bee (OnCue Theatre), and Urinetown: The Musical (OnCue Theatre). Kassidy is thrilled to be back for another year of amazing shows!

Kaitlyn Freeman 

First Cue Music Director

graduated from Elon University with a BA in Human Services Studies and minors in History, Religious Studies, and American Studies. She is a long time musician with a choral background and six years of experience singing choral music competitively. Her proudest role in music is member and music director of Twisted Measure a cappella at Elon University, where she arranged music, ran rehearsals, and facilitated professional recording processes. Currently, Kaitlyn is a third-year master’s student at Johns Hopkins University pursuing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. OnCue is Kaitlyn’s first introduction to the theatre world where she recently music directed the Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition, Something Rotten Jr. and Frozen Jr. Kaitlyn  is so excited to be back for another great season!

Sean MacCarthy-Grant

Encore Music Director

is a musician and educator, originally from Seattle WA, whose principal career focus revolves around the intentional uplifting of one's voice towards greater engagement with and appreciation for music. An internationally-renowned composer and performer, Sean has been heard across the world as a pianist, percussionist and composer, performing in prestigious venues such as DC's Kennedy Center and Seattle's Benaroya Hall with ensembles such as the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and Smithsonian Masterworks Jazz Orchestra. Sean has also led his students to prestigious awards, sending school-day and private students alike to competitive youth symphonic programs, residential music festivals, and the Brandon Victor Dixon awards for musical theatre. Sean has written for the National Journal of Music Education, has published numerous educational resources on how to support students in the music classroom, and carries a mission of lifelong learning and the pursuit of community at every level of the process.

Kira Gandolfo

Teaching Artist

 is an actor and theater educator in the DMV area. After receiving her BFA in Theatre Arts Performance from Boston University, Kira returned to their hometown of DC to continue her theatrical career. Since returning, Kira has worked as an actor with Arena Stage, Imagination Stage and Maryland Ensemble Theatre. Kira has also taught with OnCue Theatre, Imagination Stage and Adventure Theatre. At the center of the Kira’s work is a deep appreciation for multiculturalism, education and accessibility. Kira is a proud board member and teaching artist with OnCue Theatre - an arts organization devoted to uplifting young artists in their exploration of theater arts. Heather Kirschner

Heather Kirschner is a 2024 graduate of The Boston Conservatory, where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre (and a minor obsession with making everything aesthetically pleasing). A longtime member of the OnCue family, she’s staffed summer camp, guest taught, and now supports the team from NYC, where she handles social media, program ads, and all things digital. She takes her role as OnCue’s resident content-creator very seriously...which, by the way, you should be following @OnCueTheatre on Instagram and Facebook!

Emmy Lane Profile

Emmy Lane (she/ her)

Teaching Artist

Emmy Lane is a recent gradudate from University of Southern California who majored in theater with an acting emphasis and a minor in choreography for the stage and screen. She was the marketing manager for the Break Through hip hop dance team at USC. She graduated from Walt Whitman high school in 2019. Emmy was a part of Act Two @ Levine and The Free Theatre. At The Free Theatre she was a co choreographer for their productions of Mamma Mia and In the Heights. She has performed at Carnegie Hall for the New York Pops 32-35th birthday gala honoring artists such as Kelli O’Hara and Alan Menken. She has taken dance at studios such as Joy of Motion and C-Unit. Some of her favorite shows include Mamma Mia (Donna) and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Sally). Emmy also had the opportunity to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in 2017 as Ruthie in Bat Boy the musical. Emmy can’t wait to be back at OnCue!

Sienna Profile

Sienna (SISI) Manatos (she/her)

 Summer Camp Counselor

Sienna (Sisi) Manatos is overjoyed to be joining the OnCue team! Sienna is a senior at the Edmund Burke school in Washington DC. She has experience performing with Whitman drama, Ovations theater and Long Lake Camp. Some of Sienna’s favorite credits include; Spring Awakening (Wendla), Les Miserables (Eponine), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey II), and Rent (Joanne). She spends her free time doing volunteer work with Make-A-Wish, Childhelp, and the Outdoor Nursery School. Sienna is so excited to be a part of the incredible work that OnCue does!!

Fin McCahil (he/him)

Teaching Artist

Fin McCahill is thrilled to be back with the OnCue team as a Counselor. Fin is a recent graduate at the Metropolitan School of the Arts in Alexandria, VA but he got his start at Bannockburn Elementary School, Adventure Theatre, Ovations and Pyle Stages. He is a full time Academy student who aspires to follow his dreams through college and professional life in the arts that he hopes will include a rich mix of music, acting, performing and working with kids.
